Ardent Principals have been involved in the Austin Real Estate community for over 22 years. During this time they have served on the Board at the Real Estate Council of Austin and on various task forces with city leaders to implement Commercial Design Standards and Affordable Housing in Austin. Ardent has developed strong relationships with city and civic leaders and these relationships are invaluable in navigating the City of Austin development process. The Ardent principals have developed over 15,000 apartment units throughout the country including 8,500 units in Austin.
The development process for Ardent projects includes the identification of desirable sites; management of the land entitlement process; production of architectural, interior design, civil, landscape, MEP and structural design & plans; receipt of all required permits & governmental approvals; preparation and maintenance of project budgets; preparation of financial packages and coordination of project capitalization; negotiation of construction agreements and oversight of construction; coordination of property management, project leasing and lastly, disposition of stabilized properties. Ardent develops projects for its own account and in special situations, acts a fee developer for third party real estate investors.
